🔴 🏡If you thought our Housing, Healthcare, and Education Crises couldn’t get any worse than worse than you’d unfortunately be wrong 😬😅!
🔴 Last Week Statistics Canada reported Canada’s population had jumped 430,635 from July to Sept this year after reporting that our Nation had added 1,050,110 people just in 2022…the nations HIGHEST PERCENTAGE growth rate since 1957.
🔴96% came from International Immigration
🔸PR’s – 437,000
🔸Non PR’s – 613,000
🔴 HIGHEST Immigration rate of any G7 Country
🔴 The Federal Government under @justinpjtrudeau says that we need all these immigrants to make up for the chronic shortage of skilled workers. They argue that without this high level of immigration, we won’t have enough domestic workers to fill these positions.
🔴 Is that true?
🔴 There is NO DOUBT that immigrants are needed to help fill shortages of labor in certain regions. And we should continue to embrace this sort of immigration, when needed… But do we NEED 1 MILLION per YEAR??
🔴 Consider the following:
🔸🏡The MASSIVE Housing Shortage is already a problem and our country has not produced NEARLY enough homes a year to keep up with our growing population, even today! At even the average of the past 5 yrs, 600k growth, we have still gotten WAY behind! Rents are up 11% this year alone and Mortgages have doubled and even tripled for many Canadians! The lack of homes being built is a major unresolved problem still!
🔸🏥Our DISINTEGRATING Healthcare system (currently writing this in Langley Memorial and its a 10.5 hour wait so far just to see someone and another 3 left!) it’s bursting at the seems. Someone DIED WAITING at Abbotsford Regional Hospital Emergency past week and there is approx 17,000 Canadians that DIED awaiting life saving Surgeries last year, just being on the WAITING LIST! Maybe they should hire back all the damn Healthcare professionals who didn’t get the JAB and stop stonewalling thousands of Immigrant Doctors from practicing here rather 🙄🙄🙄!
🔸🏫Our broken SCHOOL system is overwhelmed as it Is with overcrowded schools and large class sizes as the new norm!
