CANADIAN DEBT = $2,920,000,000,000 !!!
Canadians owe nearly 3 Trillion Dollars in debt, topping 130% of our GDP! 
While Canadians have stopped borrowing as much, now that rates are SKY HIGH, we still accumulated a whopping amount of debt, especially over the past 4 years! 
To put it in perspective, from March 2020 to Now we’ve added an insane 541 BILLION dollars to the national debt. 
To put this in context, the United States 
which is renowned for their debt, has a debt to GDP ratio of 75%, and we’re almost DOUBLE that at 130%. 
So what do you think? Why is Canada in so much debt and why are we in nearly TWICE as much debt as our American counterparts?
